This Privacy Policy describes how ALP Operating System ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service at alpos.alpcontractorcircle.com (the "Service").

1. Who we are

ALP Operating System provides operating-system tooling for contracting businesses, including vision/traction planning, quarterly rocks, scorecards, L10 meeting management, and related features. You can contact us at wilkinson.marshall@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up with email and password we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID.
Workspace and company data. Information you and your team enter into the Service (companies, vision documents, rocks, scorecard metrics, meeting notes, todos, issues, team members, uploaded documents, etc.).
Usage and diagnostic data. Basic usage logs and error reports (via Sentry) used to keep the Service reliable.
Communication data. Email addresses we send transactional emails to (sign-in, invitations, reminders, digests) and your unsubscribe preferences.

3. Google user data

When you choose "Continue with Google" we request only the following standard scopes: email, profile, and openid. We use this information solely to:

Create and authenticate your account.
Display your name and email inside the Service.

We do not sell or share your Google user data with third parties for advertising or any unrelated purpose. We do not use your Google user data to build advertising profiles or to train AI models. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

4. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, invitations, meeting reminders, weekly digests).
To diagnose errors and prevent abuse.
To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Where your data is stored

Data is stored in our managed cloud backend (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase) with encryption at rest and in transit. Transactional email is delivered via our email provider.

6. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors that help us operate the Service (hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring), and only as necessary to provide the Service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of users.

7. Your rights and choices

Access & export. You can export your workspace data from Settings → Export inside the app.
Deletion. You can delete your account and associated data from Settings → Danger Zone, or by emailing us at wilkinson.marshall@gmail.com.
Email preferences. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link.

8. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active and for a short period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. On deletion, your workspace data is removed from our active systems and purged from backups within a reasonable period.

9. Cookies

We use first-party cookies and similar storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through an in-app notice before they take effect.
